What is the 12v, 3.3v, and the 5v rails with the amplifer added together are more then the PSU Watt's. If im doing my calculations correctly which is a 500watt power supply with a +12v/34A, +5v/30A, +3.3v/28A, which equals 650.4 WATT output. But then again in the sticky it had nothing to say about the Rails with the negative signs before them (-) unless I missed that part somehow. But the negatives on the PSU are -12v/0.8a, -5v/0.3a, and there was a +5VSB/2.0A. Now I just want to know if you are suppost to get over the amount of Watt the psu says it is and that it is ok or if there are some more calcuations that needed to be added in.
And also reading the sticky is this a good psu for a high-end system looking at Amd 64 3200, Evga Geforce 6800GT 256mb PCIXPRESS, MSI Neo4 Platinum SLI, 2 WD 80gb hard drives in raid 0, 1 CD/DVD-Rom, CD/DVD-Burner, 3 case fans, koolance water cooling (CPU, Video, both HDDs),and the of course floppy. After my readings the 12v/34a should be atleast decent for this setup and for overclocking purpose.

Could be a few things: 650W is the on-paper wattage. Reality throws a curve at you in the way of efficiency. 75% efficiency is pretty respectableQuote:
