HELP! windows error?

Alright so i reinstalled windows me on my other computer. everything goes good i erased the partition. created a new one and then when i went to ofrmat it it gets to 10% files copied and says this:

- Windows Mellennium Edition Setup

Setup cannot copy installation files to your
computer. Click ok to exit Setup.

Message SV0325
OK

What should i do to fix this?

thanks. I read that right after i made this topic. I cleaned the disk and there arent any scratches really in it.
But my problem now is that i have erased everything and windows wont open untill i format it so how the heck am i supossed to get the virus off?

Just format and repartition your hard drive. I know of very little viruses that will survive that.
