Todays laptops and laptops back to about 1004 have built in wireless cards, yes. All you would need is a wireless router to bridge the connection from your modem, through the wired PC, then to the router.

Laptops are a great thing to have if you like to use your computer whilst on the move or even just around the house or in the garden. I have a laptop :Compaq Presario 300EA which runs just fine on XP Pro and Media Centre Edition 2005. I did try vista but it played up a bit, Slow.
I would reccomend getting a nice little laptop with at least 2GB of and a minimum of 120GB Hard Disk Drive space for all your data and programs. Then if it have Windows Vista, remove it and put either LINUX or Windows XP Pro. These are much better Operating Systems and have been tested more. Even though they may say Vista is great. I can assure you it is nasty really.

Any other questions?
