this has nothing to do with anything, just thought i'd share.....

a few years back, went on a road trip to seattle to go the music museum thing (can't remember what it's called). anyway, our hotel had an AM/PM on one side, and a pub on the other. so we all went to the pub and were drinking pitchers and shootin the shit. out of nowhere some american guy sits down and starts buying pitchers for all of us. of course we canadians never turn down free alcohol, so we humoured him, and drank his beer. after we'd had enough we left to go back to the hotel. one of my friends made the sorry mistake of tellin this guy what room we were in, and wouldn't you know it, 15 minutes later, there he is with a case of mgd askin to be let in. seeing the beer, we allowed him to enter, but rather than crack the case and pass the beer around, this guy, tells us to hide the beer under the bed. we had no idea why, but we did.
well, it turns out that he went to the am/pm to get the beer, but since it was 2:03am the cashier wouldn't sell him the beer.....so he threw the money down on the counter and left with the beer anyway. then the cashier called the cops.
about 10 minutes after the american came in with the beer, the cops show up knocking on our door. we let the cops in, and they start askin questions. we kept quiet, but the american guy decided to try and pass himself off as one of us, saying things like "we're just here on a road trip from Canadia man". we couldn't hold a straight face when he said that, so immediately the cops pull him out of the room and ask us where the beer is.....we give them the beer (reluctantly), and they leave.
so we spent the next 15 mins laughing like mad about his "canadia" line, and wishing we could have kept the beer. well, wouldn't you know it, the cops came back again and here's what they said "We hear you canadians like your beer, so here you go" and gave us the case of MGD. made for a good night cap!
