Before replacing the CPU, I would open up the case and double check *every* connection inside the system, as well as making sure the power feed to the PSU is snug. It's possible something is just loose.

Ok just try and diagnose this further i pulled out another 350w that i know has never had any issues and was running a very similar setup just fine for months and still have the same issue any kind of shock no matter how slight will make it shut off and restart does anyone have any other sugestions on what could be causing this

its realy driving me nuts i sneezed last night and just my body jarring from the sneeze near it restarted it. It did stop for about a day after leaning it on the side while it was running and wiggling all connections nothing happened till my finger ot hit by the cpu fan after the fan splitting my finger nail it wouldnt shut off for a day or 2 then it went right back

maybe irelavent info just stating what i know so far so maybe itll help me get some help

3 things come to mind here,
1 was the case previously used with a different mobo? If so, there is always the possibility that there is an unused standoff behind the motherboard that's making an intermittent short .
2 Are the screws on the mobo tight? Some of em need to ground.
3 I've seen some weird stuff happen with ecs (pcchips) mobos that just defied all logic.
