can a fan be set to be an INTAKE or an EXHAUST?

for ex. this one on my case:

can the fans that come w/ this case be set to either intake our exhaust?

yes just flip it round

yeah i'd just flip the fan, that's what i do for the fans on my case, depending on the fan (most of the time) you can just unscrew it, (i'd probably clean some dust while im at it) then flip it around and screw it back.

There are a few fans that cannot be flipped around, mainly the ones that look like this:

as the screws only go in one way. But the majority of fans on the market are "flippable".
