Hi, is it possible to disable services (from services.msc) for certain user accounts on XP? I am only aware of doing so for selective hardware profiles, which I already do, but was wondering if I can do this for certain user accounts, mainly because I want to disable the Themes service for my user account, whilst leaving it enabled for other users.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

I dont know if this is the best way but you can write a login script that disables the service at logon...
net stop themes that should be the script... just type that in a text file and rename it with a .bat extension and slap it in your login profile.... anyone else know of a better way?
