Default USB Hub/pen drive gets warm

Hi, i just got a Dlink 7 port USB Hub and plugged my new pen drive-hub into it
It works well, but I noticed my pen drive was kinda warm after a few minutes being plugged in. I unplugged it and put it to my ear and could hear a little something rolling around inside it, plastic maybe?
Should I be worried about the temperature it runs at?

is it just warm to the touch? like comparable to a hot shower?
then don't worry about it, it's normal. Just make sure it doesn't start to melt

^ Agreed. Little late to this Thread, but they get warm because USB draws power. Nothing to worry about.

Warm is no problem, it is electronic after all, if it gets hot though, that's another story...
