So Ive been browsing sound cards on newegg for a little while, and I notice that 90% of the negative reviews are caused by cards crashing vista. Just want someone who can recommend a good card that is compatible with vista 64 bit. Im looking for a high end card, so ~$200 US is my budget.

I have a Creative SoundBlaster Live! 24-bit sound card...it's old, and not high end at all...but works with Vista.

I used my X-Fi with Vista Business x64 and had no real issues with it. As long as you stay with a name brand such as Creative or M-Audio, you should be fine.
