Default fan speed

i was bored and messing with bios(no nothing dangerous like voltages)basically reading the stuff and saw cpu smartfan control. I knew if i turned it off it would be 100% speed 24/7. Well i did that and its loud but i dont care. Is there anything leaving it on 100% speed could do? like wear out the fan?

the fan may wear out sooner, however fans ran at 100% all the time until a couple of years ago, when fan controllers became popular. Besides fans are cheap and will prob outlast your other hardware anyway. Ive had some running 100% for more than 8 years!

Some are made to run at 100% for extended periods. Try running 100% on your GFX. It probably wouldn't last a week.
