Default how to start computer after replacing motherboard??

ive recently purchased a an ASUS P5E-VM HDMI matx motherboard, after i replaced the motherboard with my old crappy acer, one of the fans suddenly became very load and windows vista wont start after the microsoft loading screen, heres a picture of dat screen:

windows just automatically restarts after 1 second of reaching to that screen, when it starts again, it'll ask me to lauch system repair. but all it does in there was to system restore. and it doesnt work because restoring still have my old motherboard information on the computer and not the new one. ive been told that i just needed to plug it in, and repair, but i never see the repair option, it has alwaysy been system restore. i donot have the windows vista disc since the computer was factory built when i bought it. all i have is a back up disc i made after the purchase which has all the original drivers and stuff.

the new cd that came with the motherboard is useless in dos, when i set to boot from the dvd drive and start from the cd, its in dos mod and tells me to insert a floppy or something once its in update BIOS or wutever it is. and my computer does not have a floppy drive. since i cannot go into windows i have no idea what to do.

Whenever making a large hardware change like that the first step is to see Windows installed fresh all over again. A board is a major not minor hardware change to consider. When having to replace a board on the new build here with the exact same make and model Windows still needed to be reinstalled to everything run again.

It's part of the hardware profiling as well as the two makes and models with totally different driver sets. You need a full install to see Windows go on by first buying a full version disk and download the necessary drivers for that model from the manufacturer's support site. You can't use the existing recovery method with a totally new board since those drivers/softwares are now obsolete.

Apparently someone rushed on the duplicate that was already reported since I had already posted on this one being the first of the two. Sounds like thread merger time!
