Default ipconfig doesnt work

im trying to find my physical address by typing ipconfig in the run menu so that i get through the mac address filter on my router. The command screen pops up for a second, then disappears. i just built this computer so i was wondering if it is related to the bios, or the OS. Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks.

If you can see this, you have WAY TOO much time on your hand. Or you're a mod going through my sig. But if you do, copy and past this in your sig.
