Default Emergency! Microsoft Word Frozen?

Ok, so here's the story. I d/l the 90 day trial mircrosoft word because for some reason my microsoft product key won't work. It's legit not fake so I have no idea why it's not working. Anyways I started using it about a month ago, about begining of January. So at most it's been like 30 days, so I still have 60 left? Anyways, I started using my microsoft words and saved my resume, and notes on there. However..... today it won't let me copy and paste, OR re-write it. It gets frozen, yet I can see my work saved.

Does anyone know what type of problem this is? Has anyone had this type of problem before? I have a job interview tomorrow and I wasn't able to print my resume out yet. Please help!

You've overshot the 'grace period' as Microsoft calls it, after a certain number of uses (it depends whether it's Office '03 or '07) you need to enter a product key and activate it otherwise it'll act like a reader.

When I open the file and try to type, it says This modification is not allowed because this selection is locked.

It's obvious that the trial Word doesn't work. You need to get a new one.
If you have the key, you should call Microsoft and speak to a secretery ( usually a bot, automatic , lol ) and expand the key.
I know it's possible and it's the best you can do.
