Thats good enough to play that game of yours, but try to look at radeon hd3xxx, it much more reliable than the out dated x1650 pro

Either AGP or PCI-e versions of that card are mediocre if not worse for gaming.

Most people when constructing a PC or upgrading understand this is an expensive part of the machine and usually when I build them I consider low end to be 100-175.00, however that is for a gaming machine. Good luck on your search. If you are asking if that card can play those games, sure, but not with any setting past low/med.

I should reiterate, for the latest games and the ones you mentioned, i would reccommend the ones I listed. You will be able to play them with the 1650 but it depends on the quality of graphics you would like.

I made the mistake of getting it because I thought it would be good. It plays FS2004 fairly good on high graphics (slight lag when loading) and it lags quite a bit for FSX. It plays Doom 3 on ultimate graphics very well, though F.E.A.R. lags on medium graphics @ 1280x1024.
