Default Router priorety

In our home nettwork we have 2 coputer (one laptop and one stationary) conectet to a router. The home phone is also conected to the router.
If I play a game online and somone talks on the phone, the phone gets all messed up. It is impossible to hear the person in the other end.
Is it posible to prioretise the different lines that comes out of our router (a D-Link) so that my internett conecton slows down and it is possible to talk to somone on the phone wile I stay conectet?

since its conversation only and your looking for a reply, im thinking you have a voltage drop and also have dsl with internet service too.

one suggestion comes to mind if this will help.
if you have more than one phone, try turning off the ringer or disconnect the other phones then reply back. leave one phone connected.

Thats not what he's talking about, it sounds like he has VOIP phone such as vonage, which connects to your broadband internet via a router. The QoS should automatically send voice packets as a higher priority, although if it doesn't you should look on the config page of your router and see if theres any QoS setting or port priority setting.
