I need some advice regarding a soundcard, right now im using vista and im a type of person that like to enjoy music a lot and respect a sound clarity.
Right now i have soundblaster audigy value, its my first soundcard so i dont expect much from it and i have a good speaker, its altec lansing fx4021. So if i want to upgrade my soundcard which one do you recommend? Is my soundcard already good enough, or even my onboard soundcard surpass my audigy it a realtek alc888 hd, Im on a tight budget get though. You can see my detailed spec on my sig.

I would go for what i have just bought a Creative Audigy 5.1 Sound Card, it is going as i speak and is working really good with my 5.1 Logitech x-540 Speakers.
For me it was $44AU.

if your really into sound quality, especially of it's clarity and not just boomy bottom end, I would highly recommend an M-Audio sound card.

That's a pretty old card. I would go with the X-fi Xtrememusic/gamer, I have the Xtrememusic and it blows onboard and my old sound card away.

The card has "partial" support for vista. You don't get to use all their fancy applications, but the basic control panel works and it sounds very nice. The Extrememusic is no longer in production, but you can find OEM, refurbished and used ones on the market for sub $100. The Xtremegamer, on the other hand, costs about $80 retail, and has more or less the same functions, but it uses a low profile PCB and doesn't look as nice.
