Default A full packaged computer <$1000

I'm thinking about building my first computer by myself and need a lot of advices
I'm looking for a full set including monitor, keyboard + mouse (g5+any type of keyboard), speakers. I would be using this for moderate gaming + media viewing. I had add up some component like intel e6750, 8800gt 512mb, p35, plus 2gb gskill. I am unsure about the case and power supply. I won't be overclocking anything so I doubt I would need any extra fans.

What do you think I should do?

Not possible to do it with $1000. Just a rough cal:
E6750 $190
P35 $100
RAM $50
GPU $230
DVD burner $30
HDD $70
Case $70
PSU $60
Mouse $50
Keyboard $10
LCD $180
Speaker $40
OS $120

Total: $1200 w/o tax and shipping

If you're after a PSU, the Corsair HX series are very good.
For a case, I think the Antec 900 may be too much if you're not OC'ing, something by Antec, like the P182 maybe?
For the RAM, I really recomend the Corsair XMS2!

If you don't really need an 8800 and go with a 8600 and maybe upgrade it down the road, that will save you 100-300 dollars. Get a XFX 8600GT XXX edition.

8600Gt is a bit low. May be 8600GTS??
I personally will cut the CPU to E4600, MB to P31, then may be a HD3850/ 9600GT

Eh, dont go with the 8600, i would go with the ati radeon 3850. It is a little more expensive, but it is a much better card.
