I think I fried my 4g of memory when trying to OC for the first time.
I am having it checked out now. Any other goods tips for OC'ing apart from what is in the stickies?

try an buy the fastest ram your MOBO will support say 1066 even know the CPU can only run 800 thats 266MHz of ram to OC B4 u really OC your ram.
buy heat spreaders an put them on your ram. an a good airflow thats about all that is not said in the stickys

Unless you upped the voltage of the RAM, i dont think its fried. too high frequenties only result in 'jibberish' comming from the ram, but it doesnt increase the average effective voltage through the RAM enough to fry it (as far as i know)
anyways, you can try downloading memtest ( www.memtest86.com ), burn the .ISO on a cd, and put the cd into the pc on startup (before it loads your OS, ofcourse, make sure the cd/dvd drive is the primary boot device then) memtest takes a wile to run, but it'll show if and how much errors your ram produces. (and if your ram is really blown, you'll most likely see the errors comming right away)
