I own a presario F500 laptop, last two days ago, i upgraded my BIOS to Phoenix F.1F, my laptop wasn't responding for almost 4 hours, i shutdown my laptop and when i re-start it...all i get was a blank screen, my BIOS or CMOS setup is gone or corrupted.
Any suggestions?...before i bring it to the repair center, its still under warranty. How can i install my laptop's BIOS?Thanks, guys. |

Upgrading your laptops bios can be risky business and is usually not worth doing in my opinion! if your laptop wasnt responding then it sounds like there could have be an error during the flash, in which case there isnt a massive amount you can do that i know of. personally if its still under warranty i would take it back to the manufacture but make sure you dont tell them you tried to flash the bios.
