Maybe slightly off-topic, but anyone have a suggestion for a good microphone? Basically, it should be fairly cheap, but good enough to record clear voice and sound effects. I may use it to record myself on guitar, but not studio quality, more just for like "jotting down" tunes I make up.

Any help/experience is appreciated!

The only experience I have with mics is using them in Ventrilo or
the like.
However I'm sure that most of the mics on NewEgg will cover your needs.

I think he wants an actual microphone...

Behringer, believe it or not, has some good microphones for like $25. IMO, they sound just as good as Shure microphones.
