Default New Virus Warning Received!

The following was received when a personal contact forwarded the warning to various people. For those not familiar with manually tracking and removing viruses or are simply without enough antivirus protection read the copy+paste below.

Get this E-mail message sent around to your contacts
ASAP.

PLEASE FORWARD THIS WARNING AMONG FRIENDS, FAMILY AND
CONTACTS!

You should be alert during the next few days. Do not
open any message with an attachment entitled
'Invitation,' regardless of who sent it to you It is a
virus which opens an Olympic Torch which 'burns'the
whole hard disc C of your computer. This virus will be
received from someone who has your e-mail address in
his/her contact list. This is the reason why you need
to send this e-mail to all your contacts. It is
better to receive this message 25 times than to
receive the virus and open it.

If you receive an E-mail called 'Invitation,' even
though it may be sent to you by a friend, do not open
it. !! Shut down your computer immediately.

This is the worst virus announced by CNN. It has been
classified by Microsoft as the most destructive virus
ever. This virus was discovered by McAfee yesterday,
and there is no repair yet for this kind of virus.
This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard
Disc, where the vital information is kept.

SEND THIS E- MAIL TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW!

COPY THIS E-MAIL, AND SEND IT TO YOUR FRIENDS.
REMEMBER: IF YOU SEND IT TO THEM, YOU WILL BENEFIT ALL
OF US

Were you fooled? Many got caught for sure! http://antivirus.about.com/od/emailh...invitation.htm

a firewall is like a gate. it keeps the bad people out and the dog in but it's not fool proof. but lets say you download and run an infected program. that will be like letting in a "friend." if it's infected you run that program you can get malware. that's like a friend raping your family and stealing your money.

You should be. I am sorry because we moved out from the topic but still this is also security. That kind of business can't be legal.
I wonder what kind of money does he send to people, must be falsificated!!

No this is a copycat of earlier hoaxes like the one mentioned at http://antivirus.about.com/cs/hoaxes/p/virtualcard.htm
