Half life 2, 5.1 sound problem

I have a 5.1 speaker set, Anologe (3 mini jacks), My computer has a Nforce 4 Mobo with a Upto a 7.1 and optional digital Coax out.
I have a 5.1 Not digital speaker set, In other games (UT2K4, Doom3) the 5.1 Works great, in HL2 the is just no sound in 4 Channel and in 5.1 only thing I can hear is the center channel and sub, However the game runs fine in 2Channel stareo, This is all with not changing or touching any cables.

Help

, This game is awsome (just started to play it yesturday), and 5.1 can only make this game better.
