Default printer and file sharing...

Now this is an simple task at best, but how easy is it to do between a new iMac with Leopard and a new laptop with Vista? I ask because in a few hours here I am going to have to set up a printer on someones iMac to share with the laptop. Is it prety full proof or is there going to be some complications?
