Denied access to my own hard drive!!
I have a 120G Maxtor hardrive from my desktop I am trying to get some files off of. My motherboard took a crap so I can't boot my computer and a new one just isn't in my budget right now. Currently I am trying to use a USB to IDE adapter (not sure if thats the proper name) to get the files off but where they are located "Access is denied!!" Any suggestions on how I can get the files off because I really need them or am I screwed because I write protected everything screwing myself?? Thanks!!
