I've just bought a HDMI cable from an electrical store for my PS3 to go on my new Sony Bravia TV. The guy in the shop said the prices varied, but advised me on one that was £45. However now looking around, you can buy the official PS3 one for under £20. It says on the box:
Monster Cable Standard 550HD For HDMI Standard Speed HDMI Cable > 2.23 GBPS 720p/1080i High Def Video 8-bit colour depth. HDMI-CEC Now the quality on my ps3 using this has blown me away. But I havent got a clue what these specs mean, and I basically want to know if £45 is alot of money for what this is, and if the official PS3 HDMI cable does the same job? Cheers. |

Digital is digital and they're isn't really a difference (picture quality wise, construction may vary) between the £45 and the £20 one. The cheaper route would definately be the way to go.
