Desktop, Labtop or Build it Myself???

I think the Gateway desktop looks ok if you don't look for ocing/ upgrade
$1200 with Q6600, 3GB RAM, 500GB HDD and 8800GT with 22" monitor. Fair enough.

Will not be cheaper if you build yourself with similar set up.

Why did you pick that PSU? More wattage and more amps on the 12V.
