Default Problem with utorrent dropping connection

Every time I use utorrent, after 10 or 15 minutes, I will lose internet connection. To get it working again, all I have to do is unplug the router and plug it back in. I'm pretty sure I have the ports opened up correctly, I have the program enabled through the firewalls. Why is utorrent doing this to me?

it's either isp throttling as cleric mentioned or too many simultaneous connections to the router. 200 is max for non-industrial routers unless you use hacked firmwares

i'd recommend finding the exact number of max connections then limit 20 less of that in utorrent settings. i'd also turn off dht unless i really need it

i was going to say something like that, because the torrent idea itself can't be illegal.
