Unhappy please please please help!?!?!?!

Okay so here's the deal...

I spent hours downloading 600-660 minutes worth of a tv show via Limewire. Then got excited at the prospect of burning them onto DVDs. See I only get access to this computer for days at a time when my mother goes away and I come home to look after the house, so I decided on this without thinking anything through because I leave tomorrow. So anyway, I can't put the episodes onto DVD apparently because I have Windows Xp. I think. So I don't know how the hell to make these DVDs to take home tomorrow so I was hoping somebody would know how on earth to do it. Here's what I have.

- DVD-RWs
- Windows Xp
- Videos in AVI format
- AVS Video Converter 5.6

Can somebody please tell me how to do it, what type of (FREE DOWNLOADABLE) software (free from viruses) will work and what to do?
