The triangle with exclamation point is on the bottom right of your screen in the toolbar? It is the windows updater, I don't think you're infected. All your logs are clean, GameMaster and I did not find anything, if you want we can wait for Ceewi1 to check your log but I think it's useless . Your PC is acting up when you're not around because it chooses to run programs when computer is idle, so that it doesn't slow down your computer.

Unhappy new stuff

hey all,
i just sat down at my computer and there was a window from yahoo messenger opened up and it said youve been signed out cause you signed in on a different computer or window. I dont have a different puter hooked up. i hope its nothing.

im sorry if i seem pesky but ive had so much trouble with this computer. I HATE it but its the best one ive had thus far. its a dell dimension 2400. i have upgraded it some, i put a dvd burner in it and a gig of ram. the one i had before this was so crappy you could only run win 98 on it and it was causing conflicts with some of my stuff. i couldnt update anything cause support for 98 had been discontinued. so now i have this one. still crappy but better than the last.

Hello there again!
Since the logs are clean, as benji said, it's most likely a windows updater...
Your problem may be due to the outdated windows...just give an update, maybe it carries required data...
I don't understand I foudn many yahoo toolbars and products in your log, is yahoo your...ISP? ( Internet Service Provider).

Also...
P2P PROGRAMS

IMPORTANT I notice there are signs of one or more P2P (Person to Person) File Sharing Programs on your computer.

List programs here

I'd like you to read the Guidelines for P2P Programs where we explain why it's not a good idea to have them.

Also available here.

My recommendation is you go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and uninstall the programs listed above (in red).

a firewall is like a gate. it keeps the bad people out and the dog in but it's not fool proof. but lets say you download and run an infected program. that will be like letting in a "friend." if it's infected you run that program you can get malware. that's like a friend raping your family and stealing your money.
