Default tip to find a registry key

it is the Nth time i'm repeating this mistake .

i install a game or program , then it won't work properly. dunno WHY i do not uninstall it first!! i reinstall it in a different path. the program gets worse. now this time it is not even working !!

now i go uninstall the program (sorry ) , now the unistall do not work!

ok now it is just me , and a program or game that do not install well , and can't be uninstalled, and won't run!

one of these program clearly tells me (when it gonna be run) ,that my registry got a problem and i have to reinstall, but for some reason install is not working because of registry lol.

ok , at this point , i make a decision to go dig the registry and delete its key , so i could start all over .

i run hijackthis, here's come the problem :

i can't find its key. so ANY WAY i could find my desire program registry key ? and could fix it ? i mean remove it so i could start all over?

(normally i get a scan from registry in hijack , and then seek in the items that shows up...)

You can only find so called Uninstall command which is like a line in HijackThis ( although you don't get such when you scan! Only on uninstall list ). and that wouldn't help you , I guess...

i'm sorry , didn' get you.

where can i find it ??

edit : i checked the uninstall list in hijack , and it is not there.so it is not showing all. i guess there must be someway to see ANY registry entry in windows.

(btw, if a program input a registry key into my computer, and it is able to check it any time , so i'm guessing i might be able too, huh?)
