Default Samsung ram

I'm no computer guru, I know just enough to get myself in trouble at times
What I have is four slots and I'm running samsung PC3200 256MB 400MHZ DDR in slot A1 and slot B1. From what I understand it is best to stay with the same type of Ram. What I need to know is if I should buy two more samsung 256MB or can I step up to Two more Samsung 512MB and install them in slots A2 and B2. Will there be any problem show up if I install the two 512MB?

It should work fine. You can mix brands and whatnot, most of the time it works without a problem.

yeah, im mixing my RDRAM; 2 sticks are 128 Kingstons and 2 sticks are 256 Samsungs
768MB RDRAM baby
somehow, RDRAM is more expensive than DDR3 ...or at least the last time i checked it was.

**1 gig of RDRAM is over 3x the cost of 1 gig of DDR3**
