Default Quick question about the Nvidia 9600gt

Hey my order for my XFX 8800gs did not go through do probably to paypal, but anyway would the 9600gt outperform it?

I somehow doubt it. 8800 should still be more owerful card, despite clock speeds.

What's the price diff?

$10, or for an extra $15 I can get a ATI HD3870 hmmm...

For $15 I would definitely say the ATi, I just got the HD2900XT 1GB, It's an absolute monster, real power hungry tho. The 3870 Rocks, Ati's third best card.

Yeah the ATI HD3870 seems like a much better choice for only $185 compared to an 8800gs for $170.

HD3870 Should change your life, you will never be the same again, once you buy it there's no turning back, etc etc.

3870 wouldnt rock your world for long because ati gotta bring a new card to go against the coming 9800series.

i was thinking getting a HD3870 but i can use it with a nforce 780 motherboard? or there are other motherboard better than that for the HD3870
