WTH! COD4: Wrong server version??

I added the CF server to my list and tried to join it and it said the server was the wrong version 1.5. So I left the game and downloaded the 1.4-1.5 patch and now I cant join any games! They all say wrong version 1.4! How do I get 1.4 back

Sorry mate but you'll have to reinstall it and patch up to 1.4 again. But I reckon you should PM meanman about what version its actually running or maybe he might post here...

I did a system restore but now it says some file is different than the servers...

The cf clan server is running version. when you boot the multiplayer game up after installing it it should have a update tab on the top letf click that and it will take you to a site were you can download the patch ,have a read though because i think you might have to install the 1.4 patch before installing the 1.5 patch, thats only what i think so read what the patch readme is saying good look,
ps we are online friday at 11pm uk time i hope to see you there.

Nothing? I never liked to use system restore. Had a couple of bad experiences... But try that reinstall. Like meanman said install the 1.4 patch first. I think you need to get the Xmas version of crash off it. A reinstall wouldn't take that long would it?10 - 20 mins maybe.

The [CF]clan server is running version 1.5. Make sure you have version 1.5 (It says what version you have at the bottom right corner of the screen in the game)
