Default What would be a comperable dual core to a single 3.2?

If I wanted to upgrade my pentium single core pentium 3.2 to a dual core, what clock speed would I have to match it?

Any core 2 duo will outperform it, even a 1.6GHz model

If you go from a P3 to any dual core you'll notice a difference. What were you looking at?

Motherboard is an Asus p5s-mx 775. What I'm trying to do is just play the older video games with it. The 3.2 does fine. I just wanna upgrade keeping budget in mind. It'll just be another box for lan games. Quake 3, ut2004.
