Umm, can we have a more specific budget? Also, do you need monitors, mouse/keyboard and speakers? Finally, what is the computer going to used for? Gaming? Video editing? HTPC?

Yes you did say what you where going to use it for. how about you help yourself first! go to one of the sites i will post below and do some digging aorund so you have an idea of what the cost is on parts. when done post back here with a list and then we can see if we find something better for you or tell you its just fine

www.newegg.com
www.tigerdirect.com
www.clubIT.com

for a mouse i owuld try ebay. find something cheap there.

what kind of games do you want to play? WoW? wich you will not need that great of a system to play to crysis where you will need an above average system to play at somewhat good grafix.

Do you already have an OS ( xp, vista ) those will be somewhat costly if you want Vista becasue i would only tell you to get vista ultimate 64 bit.

Or for the money you want to spend you can go to a local computer shop like a bestbuy and or frys electonics get a average premade system for 500 dallors and buy a few upgrades like ram and vidoe card and it already comes with vista or XP.

couple of good thoughts there, im actually already finding parts for the new comp (its costing more than i thought o.o), just i have no idea on whats good or not on computer parts, and yea i would like to play games like BF2142 (battlefield), and maybe even try out crysis (even thought for vistas) and yea lol

o and as for the OS, no i dont have one, im debating on getting vistas or XP home, any1 could suggest that? o.o

I would find a 200-250 gig HD, you can always add another later on when money becomes available
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148262

for the ram. after rebate it is a good price for 2 gig

Well Ultimate has evrything that the lesser offers, there is so much to list what i would tell you to do is look at microsoft's web site. this is why i chose vista ulitmate. The XP upgrade to vista has had alot of issues with drivers. ulitmate comes with a more stable version of the OS. less issues IMO.

i like the items you have found so far. looks nice. keep up the good work

If you don't wish to spend the $1xx dollars on a new OS which can then be used to buy better parts, send me a PM!
