Well is only a few people know i have actualy never built my own computer! Well today i went out to frys and got a gigabyte ga-p35-ds3l. Of cource when i got home i was shocked to find the processor was a different type (noob thing i guess ) but jabes (rip here in cf) helped me out and tomorow i am going back to get a intel p E2140. i hear you can over clock it a lot. but im happy i can say i built my own comp. (and supprising jabes said the mb i got is really good good luck on my part i guess)

If you can see this, you have WAY TOO much time on your hand. Or you're a mod going through my sig. But if you do, copy and past this in your sig.

Good luck Brian. The DS3L is really good and the E2140 is a great overclocker. Remember, you'll need better than stock cooling if you want the best OC.

YAY! I have the P31-DS3L. Exact same, just 4GB less memory support.

On a stock cooler you should get to 2.7GHz no problem. I had a $8 Rosewill cooler and that got me to 3.07GHz

I think everybody overlooks Rosewill too much. I have a CPU cooler and PSU from Rosewill and they have served me well!

BTW: what processor could you compare with an overclocked E1xxx??
