When i go into control panel/sound. The sound icon appears to be gray and i cannot move the slider where the volume low/high are. Help please

Sounds like you need to reinstall your onboard or sound card drivers.

gravite, check out this website to get your codecs: http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/M...ProductID=2543

If the GA-P35-DS3R is ur mobo, in ur sig, then your audio codecs are on that page. if not, go to ur mobo manufacturer website and then download them accordingly.

if ur lazy just post ur mobo up, and someone else would find em.
