Default Having problem with connecting to my site..

Hello, I'm having a problem with my internet.
When ever i try to connect to my site it doesnt work. But if i use a proxy it will work.

So i thought it's maybe my setting so i restored to default settings( in internet explorer). It didnt work.... I clear all my cookies, still nothing.

So i downloaded Firefox and it still doesnt work.

So how can i solve this without having tp go via a proxy every time?

Thanks, Knild

How is your site hosted? If its on a remote server like godaddy or something then I cant help you. But if you are self hosting your site with a computer on your own network/internet connection Ive heard some routers just dont like to connect.

Instead of using the DNS you could try typing in your ip, if the computer your on is the one hosting the site then you could try localhost or 127.0.0.1, if none of those work you could get a new router/try and configure it to redirect your pc to the site properly.

But honestly, all the matters is OTHER people can go to your site. And by using a proxy you've already proven that.

EDIT: You've configured your ports correctly right?

I'm using a free webhoster www.000webhost.com and i've talked to the support ant he says that i should take a look at my settings.

Thanks, Knild

EDIT:
I don't know if this is for any help but when i try to connect via a proxy(Just one not all of them) i get the error:
Quote:
Gateway Timeout
The following error occurred:

[code=GATEWAY_TIMEOUT] A gateway timeout occurred. The server is unreachable. Retry the request.
Please contact the administrator.
EDIT2:
The same thing is happening with my sis computer. And apperantly i can access the cpanel now which couldnt do before.
