Can anyone tell me what program to use for .mov file from a digital camera.

Quicktime is used to play .mov files. Also, K-lite codec pack can play it. Just google both. They're free.

or download VLC player.

its free, will play anything without having to download codecs, and doesnt care about the region of a dvd

Or QuicktimeAlternative which is quicktime minus the crapware.
