Default Extend Wireless signal

Hello im wondering how i can extend my wireless signal?
I have FIOS internet running 15:2 they said it would run about 300 ft away. We live on a 5 acre property and have a house a little over 300 ft away. We can get a signal, it is very faded and goes on and off of LAN so i am a little far for the main router to run internet.
We have XBOX Live running on the router that is there, we do not want to change the router, So. Without changing the main router how can i extned my wireless signal?

This should be placed in the Networking section. But, I would recommend purchasing a external antenna. I have one and it increased my network coverage a lot. I recommend going to www.geeks.com and click on networking.

New antenna as mentioned, better wireless card in the device you're receiving with, or even a router to pick up the signal from you're "base location". I know with DD-WRT routers, it is possible to pick up a wireless signal than send it though the switch.
