Default core 2 duo 1.5

hi guys ...

a friend of mine want to sell his laptop and i thinking of buying it but well i don't have much experience .... i work some video editing on my desktop (pentium 4 first generation with a ordinary 3.0 cpu and 2 giga ram)so i am thinking of upgrading so it will be a good idea to buy this laptop (core 2 duo 1.5 and 2 giga ram) ? i want to compare the cpu guys ? which one is faster stable ?

Well, if it is a Core 2 Duo, it will be faster, sure.

The Core 2 Duo's do run much more efficiently at a slower clock speed, not to mention it's a dual core so multitasking would improve greatly.
