Help !! With Windows Movie Maker

Hi

I am trying to make a short collection of video clips which I filmed myself, I am currently using Windows Movie Maker (Vista) for the editing of it all, but when I import certain clips it always seems to crash and say its not responding and needs to restart, why is this always happening, and does anyone know of any alternative freeware, for the same job

What's your computer specs? Once I get that I'll be on the look out..

if you're willing to pay adobe premiere is very good.
i can never use windows movie maker. it either crashes or won't convert to dvd at the last step and gives odd reasons like "not enough space" eventhough i have plenty or "can't export to dvd b/c not enough space".... wrong again wmm!

Unlead Video Studio 11Plus is way cheaper and is like a final cut express

I use Unlead Video Studio 11Plus

And it only costed 80Euros rather than Adobe Premier Pro which costs like 700Euros here

If you want cheap cheap get Roxio VideoWave 7 or the latest one. Mine was like 8euros but it wont work on vista,
