Default Sound Card choices

Which of these would be better for games and music?

Thanks for any advice or if you know of a different one please advise. I'm using a Sound Blaster live Audigy SE at the moment and just ordered the Z5500 logitech speakers for my system.

The X-Fi XtremeGamer but newegg has alot better deal. The Xtremeaudio is not even a true X-Fi, its just a beefed up Audigy SE

I would go with the cheaper Xtremegamer as the 64mb of X-ram on the Xtremegamer Fatality is largely unused by games.

And as StrangleHold said, the Xtreme audio is basically a soundblaster live with lots of software emulations.

I hear alot of people talking about the Creative X-fi extreme music sound card and that they no longer make it . I found this on Dell's website (http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/p...9&sku=313-4369 ) would this be a good card for my Z5500?

The Fatality has 64 megs of x-ram while the Xtrememusic doesn't. However the x-ram is so far generally unused by games.

There's probably not a big difference between them, but I mention it so you don't let the name of the card fool you into thinking it's *only* for gaming.
