Default Choose PC2 8500 or PC2 6400

I have been planning my next upgrade and I am looking at PC2 8500 memory (or possibly PC2 9200). Should I just choose PC2 6400 memory? Will their be little difference in processing speed between PC2 6400 and PC2 8500 memory?

This upgrade will not be for a while so price doesn't really matter to me since I have a long time to shop around and wait for prices to drop.

I will be using this system for normal internet browsing, word processing and a little gaming (older games like Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 1).

I would say PC6400 is lots. I mean, I'm gaming with PC5400 still and it's fine, you'd be hard pressed to find anything where your RAM speed is a bottleneck.

When I look at the bottlenecks in my current system it is almost always my processor (AMD Athlon 4000 single-core) being overloaded before my RAM. My 2 gigabytes of memory is only running at PC 2700 speeds too
