Default Ccleaner registry tool.

I have used the Registry tool in Ccleaner a bunch to fix a couple of machines.

It seems like you have to run it about 4 times in a row for it to clean up the registry. On the first couple of runs,,it picks up something different each time.

Why is that?

CCleaner is meant mainly for cleaning the IE history/offline content seeing a very limited tossed in uninstaller and registry cleaner there. For the advanced user the main window seen in RegCleaner as well as the automatic cleaner with 3 options there works far better with the older all Windows versions type free cleaner or a newer updated tool intended strictly for the purpose.

A lengthy thread about what cleaner besides CCleaner came up at Registry Cleaner Software

You'll see a few screen shots made in consecutive order to make a working comparison of how well each of the three, CCleaner(crap cleaner for finding empty folders and clearing IE content), RegCleaner(older freeware), and Eusing. Eusing won't run on the pre 2000/ME versions of Windows being an updated cleaner.
