Question Some questions on E2xxx series...

Hey guys! I kinda want to build an E2160 build maybe and was wondering some things. First, say I get the GA-P35-DS3L or GA-P31-S3G which both have a FSB of 1066/1333MHz. The E2160 has a FSB of 800MHz, would I have to do anything to the CPU or mobo for them to work preperly?

Also, with the Arctic 7 Freezer (or whatever it's called) how much could I overclock it? I know is different in every system but just an idea.

Thanks in advance guys!

idk about the overclock, but you wont have to do anything for the e2160 to work. This is from experience with the p31-ds3l and an e4600.

It will work fine, i'd say you should be able to overclock it to about 3.0ghz.

yeah, you won't have to do anything special

As for how far you can OC, it does matter if you get a good or bad egg, but usually people have been able to OC there E2xxx up to 3ghz w/o any problems. You should be able to obtain a 3ghz OC no problem with the AC 7 Pro. IMO the best bang for the buck if you do OC
