you know wat would be much easier and a more accurate answer is to go see your optometrist.

I hear laser eye surgery seems to be good. Maybe pricey but if it can correct your vision then I'm sure it will be worth every penny.

Yes and the price is falling down every day. One day it will be really usual, instead of glasses you will get a receipt to visit the doctor to remove the dioptry.

i had that. but not to permanently fix my vision as i already have one permanently buggered eye. it was to "stitch" my retina back in more firmly i think as it got ripped off in an accident which i would rather not go into . anyway they done it without anesthetic, it felt like i was getting small electric shocks in my eye or like when u pluck out a hair.(i was quite a bit younger than i am now so details might be a bit hazy lol)

After you do that, don't go skydiving. Your eyes will literally pop outta the sockets. No joke.

That's not true, lol. I support the laser operation, it did a great job to my friend. Her dioptry was +4.5.
Lol, I know she isn't skydiving but still

HUH! DUDE, LOL!

When you have it done you will be sore for a week or two, then you cannot be exposed to UV light (the sun) ya get given some glasses to wear outside for a few months...

It works a treat though, some ppl are even restored to 20/20 vision.

(BTW I seen all this on a doc on SKY, can't remember the program!)

It's been said a few times, but yes, the vitamins in carrot juice will help keep your eyes healthy, but not 'cure' bad vision. Also, keep in mind that Vitamin A is fat-soluble, and too much is actually a bad thing!

Don't spread that misinformation. The only thing that could happen, though it is unlikely, is that the corneal flap becomes detached; and that is only for LASIK type procedures (PRK doesn't have a flap). There has been extensive testing done by the military on this.

As for the original post, you should either ask your optometrist as was mentioned, or experiment for yourself - go for a few months with no carrot juice and periodically check your vision with a Snellen chart then go for a few months drinking carrot juice again checking your vision every so often. That said, I'm don't think more carrot juice will improve vision unless it was initially caused by a vitamin deficiency.
