Hi, I want to upgrade my laptop's HD. I have used Norton Ghost to copy my old 30Gig onto the new 160Gig but when I put the new one in, it does not read etc because Norton saved the info onto the new disk as Drive E: All my programs are also obviously wanting to read off C: and I don't now the best way to change the drive name. you can follow steps on disk management but I can suggest to just back up those files on your 30 GB then install new system on 160 hdd and put your back up so that there would be no conflicting or possibly issues that may arise clean setup is always ideal for the computer to run smoothly.....
