i have an HP color inkjet cp 1700 all in one. im wanting to copy a picture and print it to a regular 8.5 x 11" page. im wondering, is there ANY dif in quality if i scan the picture into the computer and THEN print it out?
BTW im not planning or talking about doing any kind of manipulation to the picture (filtering/photoshoping) thanks

Scan then print is higher quality.
I dont know the specifics for that exact device but generally photocopying is 80-100dpi. Scanners are 1200dpi ish. You can also archive a highquality digitial backup ![]()
