Hi guys, looking at upgraing my current speakers from Logitech Z4e's as I've found they're only using 5.25" Woofers after opening the unit up, Suspected something since theres no air reflex an my old Logitech set sounded better, whith a 'thought to be' smaller cone.
Im now in the market for a new set, seing as Im running everything from a Landsound sub ![]() Soundcard is a Creative Soundblaster Live 24Bit External. Here are my choises I've been looking at. Im basing my choise specifically on audio quality, couldn't give a damn what they look like ![]() 1. Altec Lansing MX5021 THX Black - http://www.alteclansing.co.uk/prodda...%20THX%20Black - £96 2. Logitech Z-2300 THX - http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/sp...s/231&cl=gb,en - £82.08 3. Harmon Kardon Soundsticks II - http://www.harmankardon.com/product_...ICKSII&sType=C - £116 4. Klipsch ProMedia GMX A-2.1 - http://www.klipsch.com/world/eu/en/p...gmx-a-2-1.aspx - £99.99 5. Altec Lansing FX4021- http://www.alteclansing.co.uk/prodda...Altec%20FX4021 - £76.38 (Lower model than above, would like comments, does anybody have a pair?) 6. Aego M Speaker System - http://www.acoustic-energy.co.uk/Pro...ies/Aego_M.asp - £88 (Not too sure on these, looks like they could be a cheaper system with a ramped up price because of its portability.) These choises aren't in any order, just seeking your oppinions, and looking around reviews right now. Have any of you used any of the above before. Feel free to sling suggestions in, im looking for 2.1 Only ![]() TIA ![]()

The logitechs will be ****ing loud, 200W rms is pretty impressive, and I doubt you'll find more power in that list. The HK things will be shite, don't bother, more of a toy. Other than that i've never heard of altec or aego, so I can't advise.
I will say what I say to everyone I see looking to buy speakers; get a couple of second hand 2 way speakers on ebay and a cheap amp! It'll sound 10x better!
